It's time for an update. My son Bill has a mass in his spleen and the doctors think it is lymphoma. he is having surgersy to remove it. It has made him very ill. He has lost 30 pounds. In constant pain and nausea and diarrhea. he might have to go through chemotherapy. It has been tough on him. I haven't seen my grandkids in months, and are missing them terrible. Tom and I have gotten the yard ready for winter. We can't stand the cold so we got it done early. Tom and I have wood working projects for the winter months to keep us busy. He is working on his night stands and I just have small projects. I am not that good yet at working with all the power tools. But I think I will be by next summer. LOL

Well, here's my update. Went to the doctor yesterday, I need total knee replacements on both knees, but the doctor won't even touch me for four years. that's because of all the infections I have had in the last ten years. He said if I stay well for 4 years then he will do the surgery.
so, I am on a quest to stay well for 4 years. I am on crutches at times and still use the cane for my balance. It's going to be a long 4 years. Tom is going to be on blood thinners for the rest of his life, so we have to be careful on what we do.

Been out of touch with everyone. sorry, will try harder in the future. Been doing lots of yard work to keep me from going nuts. Tom.s health still not good and that keeps me busy.
